Christian convert Rifqa Bary becomes a Legal Permanent Resident

Rifqa Bary, native of Sri Lanka, has recently received her green card.  Ms. Bary first made the news in 2009 when she ran away to Florida from Ohio to escape her parents.  Ms. Bary claimed her father threatened to kill her because she converted from Muslim to Christianity.  More recently, in May 2010, Ms. Bary went public with her battle against uterine cancer.
